In the 1970s JEO was including people like Tony Blackburn, Gary Glitter, Jimmy Young and Hughie Green, at least partly for their advanced ages. Some are still around now!!
Jimmy Savile makes many appearances - remember, this was the 1970s, so don’t judge. And Ms Smith, of course.
